SPECIALISED COURTS JOIN IN HUMANITARIAN OUTREACH

Port of Spain: The President, Vice President and Members of the Industrial Court of Trinidad and Tobago together with the Chairmen and Members of the Equal Opportunity Tribunal, the Environmental Commission and the Tax Appeal Board have collaborated in a humanitarian outreach to assist families adversely affected by the impact of the novel coronavirus. Through this collaboration, one hundred and seventy-five (175) food hampers will be distributed to the most vulnerable families. These hampers will consist of forty-nine (49) essential grocery items and one hundred and twenty-six (126) bags of fresh produce grown by local farmers.

Former lay assessor at the Equal Opportunity Tribunal and chairman of the Archdiocese's Ministry for Migrants and Refugees, Ms. Leela Ramdeen will coordinate the distribution of the hampers.
