Her Honour Deborah Thomas-Felix, President of the Industrial Court, Sen. the Honourable Jennifer Baptiste-Primus and Secretary Marslyn Melville-Jack, Division of the Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour, Tobago House of Assembly at the Eleventh ILO Sub-regional Meeting of Caribbean Ministers of Labour which took place from 14 to 15 May 2019 in Barbados.

The meeting addressed issues around the Future of Work in the Caribbean.

Her Honour Mrs. Deborah Thomas-Felix was honoured by the University of the West Indies for outstanding leadership as part of the University's 70th anniversary celebrations. The University honoured seventy of their most outstanding alumni from across the region who have excelled in their fields of endeavour. Mrs. Thomas-Felix was among other honourees from Trinidad and Tobago including, President Paula-Mae Weeks, CCJ Judge Maureen Rajnauth-Lee, former President Anthony Carmona, SC and opposition leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC.The ceremony took place at the Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
